Changing Leaves & Changing Routines: Tips for a Fall Reset

All around us, leaves are changing color, the air is getting is brisk, and all foods are suddenly pumpkin-flavored. There’s no denying it—fall is here.

As the seasons change, our personal rhythms change as well. Let’s lean into these changes and reset your intentions. Now is the perfect time to check-in on your wellness, health, and goals. As we begin to embrace the start of a new season, now is a great time to invest more into yourself and what matters most to you. Here’s a few ways to help you hit reset and start anew!

1. Journal

Pick up your pen and notebook and jot down what's most top-of-mind for you in the present moment. Use this opportunity to revisit goals you’ve set for yourself - or - make new ones.

2. Tidy up your space

Tidying up is a great way to clear your mind. Set some time to refresh your space and donate items that may benefit someone else more.

3. Plan for self-care

Been meaning to treat yourself to some self-care but keep pushing it back? Now’s the time to go on that nature walk, get that massage, or read that book that’s been on your list!

4. Connect with loved ones

Finding time for the people we love is key to living a balanced and fulfilling life. Plan a phone call, date night, or even send a thoughtful message to someone that matters to you.

5. Embrace new hobbies

Now is a great time to consider exploring different aspects of yourself by exploring new hobbies. Give yourself permission to learn something new and enjoy the process of growing into a new hobby.

6. Fill your spiritual cup

Feed your faith by engaging in the remembrance of Allah. You can do this by engaging in dhikr, reading Quran, making dua, and/or donating to causes that are important to you.
